There's some apps like this on the interwebs but with this one you can do it offline, so comes in handy if you're outside with a laptop/don't wanna look up tabs/like campfire songs xD As far as accuracy goes (i'd say 90%) i played around with it for a bit, its pretty good at detecting chords(you can choose between open chords or power chords), just don't expect it to break down metal riffs/notes/solo's. So yeah just chords great for beginners/rythm players. 8/10 + it's free.
I'm already giving it a try. Chord detection it's not very good. Fails to pick the chord changes in Blitzkrieg bop and Sixteen Saltines. I would say it just gives you a fair idea of wich chord the band is playing. The metronome is pretty much spot on, but sometimes will detect double the tempo.
Makes a slow blues feel hysterical. And I found no way of changing it. The isolation and repetition tools are nice.
Its nice overall, but I found it's way better with backing tracks rather than album songs.

Help yourself learn:. Slow down the music without affecting the pitch or change the pitch without affecting tempo.
Transpose the song into any key you like. Isolate the guitar track so you can hear it in greater detail. Get rid of the guitar player in the mix and join in yourself. Loop difficult sections with the beat synced loop tool. Add an automatic metronome to the music to help with your timing.
