I have a HP 2000 laptop.Was Windows 8.1 now 10.I am wanting to put a external usb cd dvd box to it.Now I never messed with these units.I do know I had a printer worked on 8.1 soon as upgrade says no printer driver found.Reinstalled printer stuff and same.Site says have to buy new printer not for 10.I'll just jump right on that.So to me already Windows 10 is not cool.That said, I don't want this to happen upon buying a cd dvd usb box.Writer burner.My question of- Who has the boxes below do they work on 10? What are some boxes that DO work fine with 10.?

Because of Netflix and other media companies DVD players and hard drives will soon become a thing of the past.
Hard drives will be replaced with icloud which you can get on a mac or PC. What you should have done and me too is kept your 8.1 and waited till you bought a new PC with Windows 10. I just bought a new Dell because my processor was wearing out.
