PLEASE fix this Google. Is anyone working on this? It has been this way since the update before last, I thought the last update would fix it but no such luck. This is a MASSIVE problem and it will be a deal breaker if it is not fixed or at least addressed! I work on the web all day long and this is driving me insane. I am a seller on Etsy and when I click through images on a listing page I can see them all fine, but then when I click on one I have viewed previously it does not display. This problem is having an impact on people's livelihood because a potential customer may just get bored with it and go away because they can't see the images any more.

Please google, tell us loyal supporters what you are doing to remedy this? Dottodot 24/2/2011, 7:28 น. I can't provide the link to my site as it's currently in development but I have tried what you said about viewing the same page in incognito mode and that works okay but I don't really want to have to clear my cookies and cache all of the time. I have also download and started to use the 10.0.648.114 beta version as the previous poster mentioned and there's been no issues to-date with that. I do find it weird though that Chrome is the only browser that I've ever used that constantly brings up pages and pages of messages within the Console App.

Le papillon vert 25/2/2011, 14:38 น. I'm just using blogger!

When it won't display in normal mode, it WILL in incognito at first -but if I re-load it in Incognito, it will do the same thing. Blog: This bug makes it very hard to work on a blog because even when editing, images can disappear so you can't see or work on them in the compose window, and then they're also gone when you view the page-I have to use Safari to check the blog after I make it in Chrome Another web site where images disappeared: - also happened on, - virtually every web site if I view an image, then use the forward or back buttons and go back to that image-even if I re-load the page with the reload button. Yes, clearing the cache helps (especially clearing and restarting) but it does NOT fix the problem, because once the cache starts to get larger, it'll start to make this same error. My problem appears to be so random that supplying a url won't help - because no doubt Google employees will look at it once - see there's not an issue and then wonder what all the fuss is about. I could supply urls but they will work and you'll have to continue to monitor them (which I know you wouldn't) so I think you'll just have to take mine and everybody else's word for it that there's a major issue. As I pointed out in my previous post there doesn't (yet) appear to be any issues with the latest beta version of Chrome (with the exception of about a thousand messages that constantly appear in the Console) CraigJ88 26/2/2011, 14:57 น.

Same thing here - running 9.0.597.107 on Mac 10.6.6 I've been working on updating a flickr account and a Wordpress site - both very image heavy. If an image loads once on a page, it's likely to not appear when I reload the page. I've been noticing this issue through several upgrades here and it's enough to make me stop recommending Chrome to anyone who uses a Mac. I'm having to go to Firefox every time I want to be sure my photos are actually there or to confirm which photo I'm working with. This is really annoying, since I have so many of my bookmarks and tools loaded in Chrome and like the synchronization options, etc.

Really wish Google would show more support for this - don't they have a few Macs around the Chrome dept.? This isn't a one-page issue, this is all over the place anytime an image is cached. Greencode 6/3/2011, 11:22 น.

Chrome 9.0.597.94 For Mac Mac

Tomoya: The new version crashes upon load (running OSX 10.6.8). Other than Chrome starting to run slow, it always ran before. Now I have to take an old version I got from my Time Machine, and copy it over the new version to get it to run. Then, ever day, Chrome updates itself to the new one, which won't run, and I have to repeat the process. Why won't this new version even run for me?

Can I turn off auto-update so I can simply use the old one, which works flawlessly and fast? I rely on Google Chrome and it's letting me down! Osubei, 0:17 น.
